Delaney is originally from Vermont where she lived until moving to Ithaca, New York where she lived for six years while attending college. She entered into the accelerated physical therapy program at Ithaca College where she finished her undergraduate degree in 2017 with her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Health Studies and completed the graduate program in 2019 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While in school she cultivated a strong interest in musculoskeletal and orthopedic diagnosis ranging from joint replacements to chronic overuse injuries.
Growing up in Vermont provided Delaney with the chance to participate in multiple varsity sports during high school as well as club teams. Twice she went to the Indoor Field Hockey National Tournament where she was introduced to the vast world of sports medicine and would later lead her to minor in Sports and Exercise Psychology. Her strong interest in rehab psychology has translated to her work in the clinic, allowing her to understand the mental impact that physical therapy and the rehabilitation process can have.
In her spare time you can find Delaney exploring new areas from Colorado to Montana with her pup, Lexy, or playing in a casual ultimate frisbee game. She enjoys hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, and curling up with a good book anytime of the year.
