Elizabeth Albrandt
PT, DPT
Liz Albrandt is a Wyoming-native whose first experience with physical therapy was associated with high school sports. Throughout her education at the University of Wyoming, where she earned her bachelor degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion, Liz’s love for physical therapy grew as she realized that improving physical health and function was not only beneficial for young athletes, but for individuals of all ages and ability levels wishing to improve their quality of life. Liz attended Eastern Washington University, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2024. Following graduation, Liz returned to Wyoming to be closer to her family and be part of the Laramie community.
Liz enjoys running, walking, going to the gym, reading, traveling, and the occasional cross-stitch project.
Liz believes that every individual is highly resilient with the inherent potential to build strength and overcome physical health challenges, whether they are caused by an injury, a neurologic impairment, or changes related to aging. She enjoys the problem-solving required in physical therapy to find the best evidence-based interventions and exercises for each patient based on their goals. Liz believes not only in helping patients improve their pain and return to doing the things they love, but also providing education and fostering life-long habits to reduce the likelihood of future pain or impairments. Liz is so excited to be part of the team at High Country and is looking forward to growing her knowledge and expertise.
